How is our Barcelona mosaic class?

Do you want to be Gaudi for a few hours?

You don’t need any specific knowledge or previous skills, you just need to be ready to have fun and learn more about this decorative technique. You will finish the mosaic class with a mosaic piece of your own that you can take back home or use it as a Barcelona gift for a friend! 

What will you learn? 

A brief introduction to mosaic

The class will start with a brief introduction to the different techniques used by Gaudi in his most representative buildings, the different materials and tools you can use, etc. 

Your own mosaic project 

After this brief introduction, you will start your own mosaic project:

• Choose the design: we have plenty of examples you can copy or use as a source of inspiration. 
• Choose the materials: stone, ceramic, hand-painted glass or even seashells if you want to give it a Mediterranean touch! Depending on the materials used, the artist will guide you through what adhesives and tools to use. 
• Select the colors: we have a wide assortment of materials!
• Let’s start your project: the artist will guide you through the entire process, from choosing the right design and materials to finishing your piece. She will show you how to use the tools correctly. But, most importantly, you will have a lot of fun! 

Where does the mosaic class take place? 

You can come to the artist’s workshop or we can arrange a class in the city at a convenient place close to your hotel or apartment or close to the city center. We know you have very limited time in Barcelona, so we always try to adapt ourselves to your preferences and needs.
