This tour takes us a tour of the most important sites in Valencia’s old city before heading out to the birthplace of paella: the Albufera, a national park about 15km outside the city. This protected wetlands area is made up of marshlands, woodlands, dune and the largest lake in Spain. Take a boat ride through the Albufera and discover the rice patties and a ‘barraca’ (traditional house of the fishermen and farmers of the area).
This route is guaranteed to make you hungry, so we will take the opportunity to eat a paella in El Palmar, where paella was born!
